Returns

You can return all or part of your order within 30 days of delivery for a refund or an exchange. To be eligible, your item must be unused and in the same condition as you received it.

We will not accept returns for

  • any item that is not in its original condition or is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error (i.e. has been worn, damaged, have stains/marks or smells)
  • any item that has passed 30 days since its delivery
  • sale items
  • gift cards

The right to grant a refund/exchange resides solely with Unicity.

How to complete a return

To complete your return, you must complete a returns form. This needs to be sent to us along with goods being returned and a copy of your proof of purchase.

Shipping costs

You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item(s). Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you want an exchange, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

If you are returning an item to us that is over $75.00, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Still nothing? Contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact sales@unicity.co.nz

Exchanges

If you want to swap for a different size or style, fill in the returns form and post back with your original purchase. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your exchange. If you are approved, then your exchange will be processed. You will need to pay the shipping costs for us to get your new order to you. We will only exchange items for the exact item if they are defective or damaged on delivery.

Sale Items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items or items manufactured on a limited basis cannot be refunded.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will found out about your return.
